Hey

Here is your answer,

Let the two numbers be x and y.

Sum of two numbers = 33
X + y = 33 _______eq.1

Difference between two numbers = 15
X - y = 15 _______eq.2

solving both the equations by elimination method,

X + y = 33
X - y = 15
_______
2x = 48
X = 48/2
X = 24

Substitute the value of x in equation 1 ,
X + y = 33
Y = 33-24
Y = 9

The two numbers are 24 and 9

Hope it helps you!

Heya !!

Let two numbers are X and Y.

According to the question,

X + Y = 33 ----------(1)

And,

X - Y = 15 ---------(2)

.

On subtracting equation (1) from equation (2) , we get

2X = 48

X = 24

Putting the value of X in equation (1)

X + Y = 33

24 + Y = 33

Y = 9

Hence,

Numbers are 24 and 9.
