If the sun is over head at 10º E longitude the local time is 12:00 (noon). Then the time at 15°E will be

  1. The station A is at 60° West with local time 6:30 PM.
  2. Station B has local time 4:30 PM.
  3. Now, we can find that the time difference between the two stations is two hours.
  4. Since 15° is covered in one hour, in the same way 2 hours would cover 30°.
  5. Simply add 30 degrees to station A location i.e 60°.The answer would be 90°.
  6. It's direction would be towards East of the Station A because station B is ahead of station A in time.
  7. So it would be 90° West.
