if the suppelyment on an angel is 3 times its complement then find the angle​

Let us assume that the required angle be x.

Then,

  • Supplement of angle (x) = 180 - x

  • Complement of angle (x) = 90 - x

Now,

As per the question,

➝ Supplement of x = 3 × Complement of x

➝ 180 - x = 3 × (90 - x)

➝ 180 - x = 270 - 3x

➝ -x + 3x = 270 - 180

➝ 2x = 90

x = 45° [ Required angle ]
