Given:- surface area of sphere is 100πcm².

To find:- the radius of sphere.

Solution :-

We know that, surface area of sphere is 4πr².

So,

4πr² = 100π

4r² = 100

r² = 100/4

r = √25

r = 5cm

Therefore, radius of sphere is 5cm.

Extra info:-

• Volume of sphere = 4πr²

• Surface area of cuboid = 2(b+bh+hl)

• Volume of cuboid = l × b × h

• Total surface area of cylinder = 2 π r(r+h)

• Curved surface area of cuboid = 2πrh

• Volume of cylinder = πr²h

• Volume of the cone = 1/3 × πr²h

• Total surface area of hemisphere = 3 πr²

Heyy dear♥️

If the surface area of a sphere is 100π cm^2 then it's radius is

(A) 25 cm

(B) 100 cm

(C) 5 cm ☑️

(D) 10 cm

EXPLANATION :

It is a given that the surface area of a sphere is 100π cm². To find the radius of the sphere use the following method:

We know that,

Surface area of the sphere = 4πr²

4πr² = 100π

4r² = 100

r² = 100/4 = 25

r = √25

r = 5

Hence, radius of a sphere is is 5 cm.

HOPE YOU GOT IT

Thank you :)
