x+y-4=0,
x+y=4 so,
2x+ky-3=0,
2x+ky=3
if 2(x+y)-(2x+ky)=2(4)-(3)
 2x+2y-(2x+ky)=8-5=3
therefore,2x-2x+2y-ky=(k-2)y=3
we can calculate up to this point, if a sum asked has three variables then there should be three expression if there is less than three we cant able to find out that.......

x + y = 4 eq.1, 2x + ky =3 eq.2, eq.1 ×2, 2x+2 y = 8, -2x-ky = -3, ans. 2y-ky = 5, y(2-k)=5, y=5/2-k, x=4-y, =4-5/2-k, =4(2-k)-5, =8-4k -5, =3-4k, Plz check the ans. x+y=4, 3-4k+5/2-k=4, 6-3k-3k+4k^2+5=4, 4k^2-6k-7=0,
