"2x+3y=4 and 6x+9y=k

i.e. 3×(2x+3y)=k

i.e. 3 x 4 = k

i.e. 12 = k

A collection of two or more equations with a same set of unknowns is called a system of equations.

Solving a system of equations includes trying to find the values of all the unknowns inorder to clarify every equation in the system.

System of equations can be both linear and non-linear.  The system of linear equations can be solved using four different ways.

They are:

Matrices

Gaussian Eliminaton

Graphing

Subsitution"
