Answer:

The spinning of the Earth causes day to turn to night, while the full rotation/the revolution of the Earth causes summer to become winter. Combined, the spinning and the revolution of the Earth causes our daily weather and global climate by affecting wind direction, temperature, ocean currents and precipitation.

Answer :-

Height of Cuboid = 7 cm.

Explanation :-

Given :

  • Length of Cuboid = 6 cm.
  • Breadth of Cuboid = 4 cm.
  • T.S.A. of Cuboid = 188 sq. cm.

To Find :

  • Height of Cuboid.

Solution :

We know that,

T.S.A of Cuboid = 2(lb + bh + hl).

➞ 2(6 × 4 + 4 × h + 6 × h) = 188 sq. cm.

➞ 2(24 + 4h + 6h) = 188 sq. cm.

➞ 2(24 + 10h) = 188 sq. cm.

➞ 48 + 20h = 188 sq. cm.

➞ 20h = 188 - 48.

➞ 20h = 140.

➞ h = 140 ÷ 20.

➞ h = 7 cm.

Verification :

➞ T.S.A of Cuboid = 2(lb + bh + hl).

➞ 2(6 × 4 + 4 × 7 + 6 × 7) = 188 sq. cm.

➞ 2(24 + 28 + 42) = 188 sq. cm.

➞ 2(24 + 70) = 188 sq. cm.

➞ 2(94) = 188 sq. cm.

➞ 188 = 188 sq. cm.

LHS = RHS.

Hence, Verified.
