The oven-drying temperature of 105-110°c is suitable for most of the soils. If we keep soil in oven at 105-110 celsius temperature for 24 hrs then 100% water will be get evaporated from soil. But if temperature is less than that then all water will not be evaporated from soil within 24 hrs or it will take more time to evaporate all water content in soil. So, if temperature is less than 105°c then value of water content will increase.
