If the thickness of 500 sheets of paper is 3.5 cm, what would be the thickness of 275 sheets of this paper ?

Hey...!!,

Thickness of 500 sheets = 3.5 cm
Thickness of 275 sheets = x (let)
So,
500/3.5 = 275/x
X = (275 * 3.5)/500
X = 962.5/500
X = 1.925
So, the thickness is 1.925 cm.

Thickness of 500 sheets of paper is 3.5 cm
so, thickness of a single sheet of paper =3.5/500 cm
Now,thickness of 275 sheets will be equal to -
no. of sheets* thickness of a single sheet

=275*3.5/500
= 1.925 cm
