No. of carboards in a pile which is 44 mm thick = 16

No. of carboards in a pile which is 1 mm thick = 16/44

Now to calculate how many cardboards will be there in a pile which is 71.5 cm thick.

1 cm = 10 mm

71.5 cm = 715 mm

So, No. of carboards in a pile which is 175 mm thick = 16/44 × 75

                 = 63.63

Hence 64 cardboards will be there in a pile which is 71.5 cm thick.
