If the third and the ninth terms of an AP are 4 nd -8 respectively. which term of ap is 0.

t9 = a + 8d = -8

solving the two eqn we get
d = -2
a = 8
so
8 + (n - 1)(-2) = 0
2n - 2 = 8
n - 1 = 4
n = 5

so 5th term of AP is 0
