The sum of all the angles of a triangle is 180° which is called angle sum property of a triangle

Given the three angles are x-40 x-20 and x/2

Therefore, x-40+x-20+x/2 will be equal to 180°

ie x-40+x-20+x/2=180°

2(x-40)+2(x-20)+x =180°

______________

2

2x-80+2x-40+x=2*180°=360°

5x-120=360°

5x=360+120

5x=480

Therefore x=480/5=96°

Angle 1=96-40=56°

Angle 2=96-20=76°

Angle 3=96/2=48°

Verification

56°+76°+48°=180°

Hence, verified!!!....
