Answer:

My age is 43 years and age of my son is 11 years.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given,the three times of my son age is subtracted from my age the result is 10 years.

Let my age be x years and age my son be y years.

So, according to question,x - 3y = 10....(1)

and it is also given,twice my age added to my son age the result is 97 year.

So,2x + y = 97......(2)

From equation (1),

x - 3y = 10 \\ x = 10 + 3y.....(3)

We are putting value of x in equation (2),

2 (10 + 3y) + y = 97 \\ 20 + 6y + y = 97 \\ 7y = 77 \\ y =  \frac{77}{7}  \\ y = 11

From equation (3),

x = 10 + 3 \times 11 \\ x = 10 + 33 \\ x = 43

Therefore my age is 43 years and age of my son is 11 years.
