If the total angle sum of a polygon is 1080°, then how many sides does the polygon has ?

Here's the answer !!

For a four sided figure the sum of all angles = 360°

So let the number of sides of the figure be X

For a X sided figure the sum of all angles = 1080°

Side : Angle :: Side : Angle

4 : 360 :: X : 1080

360 × X = 1080 × 4

=> X =  4320 / 360 = 12

Hence X = 12 sides

Hence it is a 12 sided polygon.
