 If the total mechanical energy of a body having a mass of 20 kg at a height of 100 m from the ground is 20,000J, it slides down to a certain height where its kinetic energy is 5000J. Calculate the distance that it would have travelled from its initial position. (Write only the answer, no calculation to be shown, work it out separately). *

Distance of this object must be 50m as the object will start moving down it's potential energy would decrease and its kinetic energy goes on increasing.
