Equivalent resistance = 20 ohm

Also, equivalent resistance = resistances in parallel

=> R ( series ) = 25 + 75

= 100 ohm .........( 1 )

Also, R ( series ) = 10 + x ohm .........( 2 )

Adding ( 1 ) and ( 2 )

 \binom{1}{100}  +  \binom{1}{10 + x}  =  \binom{1}{20}  \\  \binom{10 + x + 100}{100(10 + x)}  =  \binom{1}{20}  \\  \binom{110 + x}{1000 + 100x}  =  \binom{1}{20}  \\  20(110 + x) = 1000 + 100x \\ 2200 + 20x = 1000 + 100x \\ 1200 = 80x \\ x =  \binom{1200}{80}  \\ x =  \binom{120}{8}  \\ x = 15

Resistance = 15 ohm

Also, by using ohm's law

V = IR

6 = I × 20

=> I = 3 / 10 A
