Answer:

Value of Resistor 'x' is 15 Ω.

Current flowing through the circuit is 0.3 A.

Explanation:

⇒ 1/20      = 1/(10+x) + 1/(25+75)

⇒ 1/(10+x) = 1/20 - 1/100

⇒ 1/(10+x) = (5-1)/100

⇒ 1/(10+x) = 4/100

⇒ 1/(10+x) = 1/25

⇒ 10+x = 25

x = 15 Ω (←ANSWER)

Given,

-Potential Difference = 6 V

-Resistance = 20 Ω

Voltage        = Current × Resistance

⇒ 6 V           = Current × 20 Ω

⇒ ∴ Current = 6/20 A

= 0.3 A
