Given:

TSA of solid hemisphere = 462cm.

To Find:

Volume of solid hemisphere

Solution:

TSA of hemisphere = 3πr²

462cm = 3πr²

462/3 = πr²

154 = πr²

154 × 7/22 = r²

49 = r²

√49 = r

7 = r

The radius of the hemisphere is 7cm.

Now, Volume of hemisphere = 2/3πr³

= 2/3 × 22/7 × 343

= 2156/3

= 718.67 cm²

Hence, the volume of hemisphere is 718.67cm².
