Heya user,

TSA of a solid sphere = 4
πr²

Now, given -->

---> 4
πr² = 98.56
==>
πr² = 98.56 / 4 = 24.64
==> r
² = 24.64 * 7 / 22 = 1.12 * 7 = 7.84
==> r
² = 7.84
==> r = plus minus 2.8

But neglecting -2.8 we get the radius of the sphere as +2.8 cm

Randomstranger123: u can atleast do the calculation right? calculate it: 98.56*7/4*22
Randomstranger123: do it in a copy and show me.... if u REALLY didn't use a cal
Anonymous: = [ 98.56 /4 ] * 7 / 22 = [ 24.64 / 22 ] * 7 = [ 1.12 * 7 ] = 7.84

Hey folk !!

Here's the answer you are looking for

Total surface area of a solid sphere is 4πr²

Here, 4πr² = 98.56 cm²

4 \times  \frac{22}{7}  \times  {r}^{2}  = 98.56 \\  \\  {r}^{2}  =  \frac{98.56 \times 7}{22 \times 4}  \\  \\  {r}^{2}  = 7.84 \\  \\ r =  \sqrt{7.84}  = 2.8

(neglecting the negative value of r because length can never be negative)

☞Therefore, the radius of the sphere is 2.8cm.
