if the train travels 480km at a uniform speed .if the speed had been 10km/hr more.it would have taken 4 hours less for the same journey find the speed of the train​

if the train travels with more 10km/hr speed then it woul have take 4 hrs less time

i.e v + 10 = 480/t-4

t- 4 = 480/v+10

t = 480/v+10 + 4 ------ 2

equating equation 1 and 2

480/v = 480/v+10 + 4

solving the equation we get v = 30 and -40

v can't be -40 so v = 30

so speed of the train = 30km/hr
