Answer :-

  • \Large{\sf{\red{60\:cm^{2}}}}

Given :-

  • Parallel side are 12 cm and 8 cm.
  • Height of trapezium h = 6 cm ( distance between parallel side ).

To find :-

  • Area of trapezium = ?

We know that Area of trapezium is :-

  • 1/2 × ( Sum of parallel side) × height.

Putting values :-

→ 1/2 × ( Sum of parallel side ) × h

→ 1/2 × ( 12 + 8 ) × 6

→ 1/2 × 20 × 6

→ 10 × 6

{\sf{\red{60\:cm^{2}}}}

Area of trapezium is 60 cm².

✰✰|| Given ||✰✰

  • measure of parallel side = 12cm, 8 cm

  • measure of height = 6cm

✰✰|| To Find ||✰✰

  • Area of trapezium

|| Solution ||

Area of trapezium = 1/2 × sum of parallel side × height

Area of trapezium = 1/2 × ( 12cm + 8cm ) × 6cm

Area of trapezium = 1/2 × 20cm × 6cm

⇒ Area of trapezium = 1/2 × 120cm²

Area of trapezium = 60cm²

Area of trapezium = 60cm²
