100 {}^{2}  = x {}^{2}  + x {}^{2}  \\  \\   10000 = 2x {}^{2} \\ 10000 \div 2 = x {}^{2}  \\ 5000 = x {}^{2}  \\    \sqrt{5000}  = x \\ 50 \sqrt{2}  = x

therefore, 50√2 is equal to length of each equal side.
