☆gravity 'g' represents the physical quantity acceleration.

so it will have same dimensions as that of acceleration.

》after that we will go to its formula;

g = GM/r²

Note:

  • here is a catch in the question, they said by changing the unit length , means we'd here totally changed the physical quantity which was taken as 1 initially.
  • so the word "unit" is important here.
  • That's why the G has changed.
  • otherwise, if the question simply said,if by changing the length and mass of the system, then there will be no change in G.
  • As G is universal constant ,its independent of mass and length of system.
