The speed of light in vacuum will be doubled if the length is doubled

  • The speed of light in vaccum is given by the formula

Speed of light = (Distance Travelled in vacuum / Time taken)

  • The relation shows that the speed of light is directly dependent on the distance tavelled by the light
  • Distance is measured in  length and if unit of length is doubled  distance travelled by the light will also be doubled
  • As speed of light is dependent  on the distance travelled it will also be doubled
