What is holding the gravity ? is a little vauge so i will say that gravity is the curvature  of space time itself not a force like newton said it , and what is holding the gravity is the interaction of the particles of the object with  higgs field which gives it mass  and again the curvature of space time , but in QFt there are fields for each of the forces and they  have a particle associated with them so therefore it is a particls called graviton .THius means that what is holding the  gravity is the interaction with the higgs field and the rapid interaction with gravitons by curving space time .
