If the value of "G" is constant, then why the question is asked about to calculate the value of "G" between these objects??

keerthi48: as the masses are different force between the object varies
shubhamsingh15: the mass are different the object

Hey there!

" G " is Universal Gravitational Constant. It is same every where.
You are confusing it with " g " which is acceleration due to gravity. It changes as we move.

The " G " which is asked to Calculate between objects may be The Gravitational force.

HappiestWriter012: here, this is a hypothetical question
HappiestWriter012: considering G as a quantity which can be measured
Assassin12: will there's something called Columbs law
Assassin12: i think you can solve it using that
Assassin12: which is
Assassin12: q*(m¹*m²)/r
Assassin12: where m¹ and m² area the masses of the two body and r is the distance between the centre of two objects
Assassin12: and k is a constant whose value is 9.0 *(10^9) N
Kãbukavi: gravitational force is represented by 'g' and not 'G '
satyam199: Please see the ques. , which i have asked in the top. Please answer that ques.

G = universal Gravitation constant.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

We know that the G is the universal Gravitation constant.

☆ " G " is changes as we move

============

Your question is why the question is asked about to calculate the value of "G" between these objects.

ANSWER : -

This is asked To calculate the distance Between the objects

This " G " can also Gravitational force.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

gravitational constant =

6.67408 × 10-11 m3kg-1 s-2

anish73: is the gravitational fore exerted by the earth which is also constant that is 9.8m/s generally
anchalqa16: G is constant for earth and related planet which comes in the range of gravitational force by the earth. G changes for different planet or the different heavy body. As G changes so value of g also changes. mg=GMm/r2. here m gets canceled. for example on the surface of moon our force i. e. our weight becomes 1/6.
divyansh101dabral: no G is only the force of attraction between two objects of one kg separated by one metre distance
divyansh101dabral: it is constant throughout the universe
divyansh101dabral: look on internet
divyansh101dabral: only g changes due to different masses of both bodies or changing distance
