If the velocity of a bode is increased by 5m/sec to 6m/sec in two seconds by applying one newton force then find the mass of the object

aryansingh32: the answer is 2 kg
aryansingh32: how
aryansingh32: v=6m/s. u=5 m/s t = 2 sec. f=ma. m=f/a. and f = 1. m= 1/1/2=1*2= 2kg

a = (v₂ - v₁)/t = 1/2 = 0.5 m/s²

F = ma

m = F/a = 1/0.5 = 2kg

Answer : 2 Kilograms

Step-by-step explaination :

Since we know that, F = ma where F stands for force, m for mass and a for acceleration.

Therefore we need 3 quantities Force, mass and acceperation. In order to takeout acceleration,

a = ( v - u )/t

a = ( 6 m/s - 5 m/s )/2 s

a = 1/2 m/s²

Given : F = 1 Newton

Since, F = ma

1 N = mass × 1/2 m/s²

2 kg = Mass
