let the Velocity of light in vacuum be 'c'

Given: refractive index of glass = 1.5

Refractive index, n = \rm\frac{speed\:of\:light\:in\:air, \: c}{speed\:of\:light\:in\:glass,\: g}

=> 1.5 = \rm\frac{3 × 10^8}{g}

=> g = \rm\frac{3 × 10^8}{1.5}

=> g = 2 × 10^8 m/s

Velocity of light in glass, g = 2 × 10^8 m/s
