We know that
speed of sound = wavelength * frequency
a) 340m/s = wvm * 256Hz
wv = 340/256 = 1.328125m

b) 340m/s = 0.85m * fqHz
fq = 340/0.85 = 400Hz

**Note**
m = meters
s = second
Hz = Hertz
wv = wavelength
fq = frequency
** Hope it helps **

Hey!

____________________

Velocity = 340 m/s
Frequency = 256 Hz
Wavelength = ?

(a) Wavelength = Velocity / Frequency
Wavelength = 340 / 256
Wavelength = 1.32 m

(b) Frequency =?
Wavelength = 0.85 m
Velocity = 340 m/s

Frequency = Velocity/ Wavelength
Frequency = 340/0.85
Frequency = 400 Hz
