if the velocity of sound in air is 340m/sec. find the frequency when wavelength is 0.65 m

Speed = 340 m/s

Wavelength = 0.65 m

Speed = wavelength x frequency

⇒    340 m/s =  0.65 x frequency

⇒   Frequency = 340 ms^-1 / 0.65
                    = 543.07 Hz

Given,

speed of sound = 340 m/s

wavelength = 0.65m

we know that,

velocity = wavelength x frequency

340 m/s = 0.65m x frequency
 
frequency = 340m/s /0.65m

= 523.07 hertz.
