Let the measure of each of the base angles be x°. 

Now, 
$x + x + 100 = 180$         [ Angle sum property of triangle. ]
⇒ $2x+100=180$
⇒ $2x = 180-100 = 80$
⇒ $\frac{2x}{2}=\frac{80}{2}$
⇒ $x = 40$

∴ The measure of each of the base angles of the triangle is 40°.

As we know isosceles triangle is that triangle in which two sides are equal

or we can say veritical angle is unequal

According to the Question-

x°+x° + 100° =180°[ Angle sum Property]

=> 2x = 80°

=> x = 40°

Hence the base angle is 40°
