The vertical angle of an isosceles triangle is 100

The base angles of an isosceles triangles are equal.
Let the base angles be x and x.

Sum of angles = 180

=> 100 + x + x = 180

=> 100 + 2x = 180

=> 2x = 180 - 100

=> 2x = 80

=> x = 80/2 = 40°

Base angles are 40° each.

In isosceles triangle base angles are equal
So let one base angle be x
Then two base angles is 2x

sum of all interior angle of a triangle is 180
So ,
100+2x=180
2x=180-100
2x=80
x=40

therefore base angle is 40 degrees
