else if the points of a triangle are collinear then put the area of triangle as 0 nd solve the question.

If vertices are collinear , then all lies on a single line .

Consider a triangle ABC , Let us make it collinear , it will become like in 2nd pic in the attachment... That means there is no space in between, so there is no area ... I.e area = 0 sq.cm


Vertices A( x,y) ,B(x,y) and C(x,y)

Area = 1/2( x(y-y) + x(y-y) + x(y-y) ) = 1/2×0 = 0
