If the vertices of triangle ABC are A(5,-1) B (-3,-2) C(-1,8) Find the length of median through A.
≛ Given that :-
A ΔABC, and the vertices of the triangle A(5,-1) B (-3,-2) C(-1,8).
Let AD be the median through A, such that BD = DC (as D is the mid point of BC)
(for more explaination refer the attachment)
Now, Length of the median AD
= √[{5-(-2)}^2 + {-1-3}^2]
= √{7^2 +(-4)^2}
= √(49+16)
= √65 ans.
