Given data : The volume of water in a cubical tank is

2744 litre.

Solution : To determine the base area of the tank.

Here, we know shape of tank is cubical. All side and face's of cube are equal.

Now, firstly we have to convert 2744 litres into m³.

We know,

⟹ 1 m³ = 1000 litre

Hence,

⟹ 2744 litre = 2744 * 1000 = 274400 m³

Hence, volume of cubical tank is 274400 m³.

Now,

⟹ volume of cube = (length)³

⟹ 274400 = (length)³

⟹ length = ³√274400

⟹ length = 64.98 m (65 m approx)

Now,

⟹ Area of base of tank = length * length

⟹ Area of base of tank = 65 * 65

⟹ Area of base of tank = 4225 m²

Answer : The base area of the tank is 4225 m².
