if the volumeof a cube is 5832 find the edge and whole surface area of the cube

we know,

volume of cube = (edge)³

=>
 {edge}^{3}  = 5832 \\  =  > edge =  \sqrt[3]{5832}  \\  =  > edge = 58
and, surface area = 6 ×(edge)²

= 6 × 18 × 18

= 1944 answer

Given -

Volume of a Cube is 5832 cm³.

Here , the unit is ( cm³ ) as understood not being mentioned any unit in the question.

To find the edge and total Surface area of cube :-

We know that ,

Volume of Cube = (edge)³ or a³

 = > Edge \: = \sqrt[3]{5832}

 = > Edge = \sqrt{18 \times 18 \times 18} = 18 \: cm

Now ,

We know that ,

Total Surface Area of Cube = 6a² sq. units.

 = > 6 \times 18 \times 18

 = > 1944 \: cm^{2}

Hence ,

Edge of the Cube = 18 cm

Total Surface Area of the Cube = 1944 cm²
