We know, that the moon is not as big as the earth and neither equal in mass, So the acceleration due to gravity of moon is 1/6 th of the acceleration due to gravity of the earth.

So,

g of the moon = 1/6 × g of the earth

We know,

Weight = mass × g

60 = mass × 10 ( take , g = 10 m/s² )

mass = 60/10

mass = 6 Kg

==> Weight on moon = 1/6 × g × mass

==> Weight on moon = 1/6 × 6 × 10

==> Weight on Moon = 10 N

Hence, Weight on moon's surface will be 10 N

Answer:

10 Newton

Explanation:

Weight on moon = 1/6 times the weight on earth

=> 1/6 x 60

=> 60/6

=> 10 Newton

Hope it helps!! Thank you, please mark as brainliest.. :)
