Weight of a body on the earth is approximately 6times as on the moon as the values of acceleration due to gravity of earth is 6 times taht of the acceleration due to gravity of the moon.

If the weight of the body is 6n on earth, then 1/6 of its weight will be its weight on the moon,

6n/6=n

Therefore 'n' is the weight of the body on the moon

Hope it helps

Answer is 1 Newton

Formula:The weight on Earth is 6 times on the moon

or

We=6Wm

Explanation:

weight on Earth=6 newton

To find weight on moon,

We=6Wm

6=6Wm

Wm=1Newton

Extra Knowledge:

Gravitation on moon=1.65N

Gravitation on Earth=9.76N or 9.8N
