Answer:

It’s all to do with air pressure in the cabin. In a jet airplane, compressed air in held inside to bring the pressure inside the cabin to that at sea level as the pressure outside is extremely low due to being thousands of feat up in the air. Also, without the compressed air, passengers would be unable to breathe due to a lack of oxygen at over 10,000ft. When a window breaks, the seal holding this compressed air inside it breaks, and it rushes out to equalize conditions inside the cabin with those outside. For anybody close to that window, there’s going to be an incredibly strong wind heading out. It’s strong enough to suck somebody out of the window. Within seconds, the pressure and temperature will drop which can lead to ears popping. Quite likely, it will suddenly get foggy inside the cabin and it will be very noisy because of the sound of the jet engine.
