Heya !!!

Let Alpha = -2

P(X) = X²+X -2

Here,

A = Coefficient of X² = 1

B = Coefficient of X = 1

And,

C = Constant term = -2

Sum of zeroes = -B/A

-2 + Beta = -1/1

Beta = -1+2 = 1
