Sum of roots = -b/a

a-b + a + a+b = 0

a = 0

Now,

αβ + βγ + γα = -2

a² - b² = -2

b² = 2

b \:  =   +   \sqrt{2} \\ or \\ b \:  =  -  \sqrt{2}
