x2-px+q = 9 - 3p + q ................eq (1)

when x = 2

x2-px+q = 4 - 2p + q .......................eq(2)

solving eq1 nd eq2 by elimination method we get

9-3p+q=0

4-2p+q=0

we get p = 5 , q= 6
