let alpha and beta be the zeroes

alpha = 1/beta

x² - 5x + k = 0----(1)

x² - (alpha + beta)x + alpha x beta = 0

x² - (1/beta + beta)x + 1/beta x beta = 0

x² - (1+beta²/beta)x + 1 = 0 -----(2) [beta and beta got cancelled]

now in eq (1) &(2) we can say that k = 1
