the zeroes of the polynomial 2x^2-5x-3 are
(by splitting the middle term)
2x^2-3x+2x-3
x(2x-3)+1(2x-3)
(x+1)(2x-3)
therefore, the zeroes are:
x+1=0
x=-1
and,
2x-3=0
2x=3
x=3/2
now double these zeroes and then find the values of p and q
(by splitting the middle term)
2x^2-3x+2x-3
x(2x-3)+1(2x-3)
(x+1)(2x-3)
therefore, the zeroes are:
x+1=0
x=-1
and,
2x-3=0
2x=3
x=3/2
now double these zeroes and then find the values of p and q
