If the zeroes of the polynomial x^3-3x^2+x+1are (a-b),(a+b),(a)find a and b.

sum of roots
a-b+a+b+a=3
3a=3
a=1

product of roots

since a =1
(1-b)(1+b)1=-1
1-b^2=-1
b^2=2
b=√2
