case 1) if he ate from the cart :

No. of mangoes in cart : 2

No. of mangoes eaten : 1

Now , No. of mangoes left : 2-1 = 1

So , 1 mango is left in the cart if he ate one .

case 2) If he atefrim somewhere else then , 2 mangoes are left in the cart.
