Let the larger angle be x
and smaller angle be y
• Angle are supplementary
x + y = 180 .... ( i )
° Their difference is 120
x - y = 120 ..... ( ii )
Adding ( i ) and ( ii )
x + y + x - y = 180 + 120
2x = 300
x = 150
Putting the value of x in eq ( i )
x + y = 180
150 + y = 180
y = 180 - 150
y = 30
So ,
The larger angle is 150
and smaller angle is 30
and smaller angle be y
• Angle are supplementary
x + y = 180 .... ( i )
° Their difference is 120
x - y = 120 ..... ( ii )
Adding ( i ) and ( ii )
x + y + x - y = 180 + 120
2x = 300
x = 150
Putting the value of x in eq ( i )
x + y = 180
150 + y = 180
y = 180 - 150
y = 30
So ,
The larger angle is 150
and smaller angle is 30

let angle 1 =x
So, angle 2=x+120
adding angle 1and 2,
x+ x+120=180
180-120=2x
60=2x
x=30°
angle 1=x=30°
angle 2=x+120=30+120=150°
So, angle 2=x+120
adding angle 1and 2,
x+ x+120=180
180-120=2x
60=2x
x=30°
angle 1=x=30°
angle 2=x+120=30+120=150°
