If their is 20 eletrons so the K shell will consists 2 electrons L8 M also 8 and n 2 but the m shell have the capacity toconsists 18 electons so why should we use n shell?

Because 8 electrons keeps the atom stable and if u add more electrons to it then it becomes an unstable atom.
