The meteorites doesn't fall on the earth surface IF they don't enter the earth's gravitational field.
See, the meteors are continuously moving in the space (since there is no gravity, they are not stable). Since they are moving, they sometimes enter the Earth's gravitational field. So after that Earth starts pulling the meteors.
And due to the friction caused by Earth's atmosphere, they start burning.
So the reason why they land on earth surface is that Earth itself pulls them

It's not possible because there is also gravity on moon by the ways there is no gravity in space but in earth and its atmosphere so when they will come in a little contact of atmosphere they will fell down and the by the atmospheric pressure they will be died and their body got burnt by toooooooooooooo much force before falling on the ground
