➤ Answer :-

Number of students passed =

 \dashrightarrow \tt90 \bf\% \: \sf \: of \: \: 50

 \dashrightarrow \tt \frac{90}{100} \times 50 = \frac{90}{100} \times \frac{50}{1} \\

  \dashrightarrow \tt \cancel\frac{4500}{100} = 45 \\

Now,

Number of students failed =

 \dashrightarrow \tt50 - 45

 \dashrightarrow \tt5

\Huge\therefore5 students had failed in the test.
